Hello All,

I have downloaded and installed perfmon2 2.6.28 on my Intel core based
machine. I have also installed libpfm and pfmon. I want to do a simple
time based sampling (every 500ms) of three events for a benchmark:
l2_lines_in, unhalted cycles and instructions retired. I find no
intuitive interface in the documentation that allows me to do this.
The only time based sampling option that I find is for system wide
counting, not for a thread. I see the event based sampling option, but
am not sure how to use it to do time based sampling across all the
three events. I wonder if I have missed some option in the
documentation, which allows me to do this in a straightforward
fashion. Any suggestions/hints would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance,
-Gaurav
