I am thinking about using apache :) I know the same deal
applies. But I was thinking about using IPC to talk to a little
perl script that would run as a daemon, using srvany from the
resource kit. This perl servlet would of course need to have as
many rights as it requires to reset passwords, add, delete and modify
users and so on.
Obviously, anyone who can get to read the script will be
able to see what the shared secret is between the cgi and the perl
servlet, but I don't think that would be a problem as that machine
will be under my control.
