regarding cmeta, vmeta and dc, I'm aware of it...
the Win32::GUI::DC part has been totally reworked
in favour of the new Win32::GUI::Graphic approach.
I'll produce new samples ASAP...

happens to me too.
it must be something with the WM_CTLCOLORxxx messages,
but it still needs some hacking.
