I've been trying to drag myself through the archives
discussing the problems with PPM. What happened to it?
It used to work just fine, but now I get that weird
error:
mismatched tag at line 9, column 2, byte 612 at
d:/bin/perl/site/lib/XML/Parser.pm line 168
I've seen some emails say it is ActiveState sending us
malformed XML. But, I removed this repository and
it produces the same errors with other repositories.
I tried editing the PPM.XML file, it was oddly formed,
so I reformatted the text to make the newer entries line
up with the original ones. It worked right after that
(and I was able to install Win32-GUI), but then it started
crapping out again. Then I finally got it to work on
"Win32-ClipBoard". It seems to *not* work most of the
time, but it works on very few of my tries. What
changed?
Sorry to repeat this problem again...It seems to have
been discussed a lot in the archives, but I can't seem
to get anything useful from them.
Thanks...
