Hi all, I've added three new logos to the pdl-logos page:
http://pdl.perl.org/images/pdl-logos.png Logo O - Proposal from Cliff (camel inside Möbius strip). Logo P - Proposal from Matt (PDL drawn as loop-back reference arrows). Logo Q - New idea from Daniel (surface plot becomes a camel). I definitely think that the final logo should be vectorized if possible. It's not about file size, it's about being able to enlarge it for a banner later. Failing at a vectorized version, we must at least have a method to generate a large image if needed (e.g. a list of Gimp instructions). > It combines the letters in PDL, it has little arrows back to the P > symbolizing the lookback and references, and it'll shrink to a nice > icon! > > What do you think? My wife's reaction: Cool! I think it looks interesting. I think it's a good idea. It's not my favourite option so far, but it is interesting and I think it's worth exploring. Daniel. -- Intolerant people should be shot. _______________________________________________ Perldl mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.jach.hawaii.edu/mailman/listinfo/perldl
