Thanks for the link, Leandro.  I've posted a reply at
http://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=891888 if anyone is
interested.

While it is disappointing to hear negative statements
about PDL (especially vague, undocumented ones :-), I
think it points to exactly the problem that we have
in growing the PDL community.

We've made a lot of progress with Daniel's lead in making
the documentation and use of PDL more approachable to
new users but we still have a way to go.  I think we
can be proud of PDL-2.4.7 and I see the upcoming 2.4.8
release as another improvement.
