literally advise people to use Tor to defend against what they view as
illegal state surveillance by the NSA:

The very same department that is not legally allowed to spy on those
Americans, I might add.

We're probably going to have to agree to disagree at this point. I'd be
happy to buy you a drink to discuss this in person - if you happen to be
attending the CCC 30c3 in Hamburg, I think it would make for a great
discussion.
