Thanks Behdad! I got my newly installed MS Word (after my disk crash on Thursday!) to
respond to my keyboard correctly. It is strange, that to type Persian into many text boxes I did not have
to set anything. No language setting or extra fonts were needed, and the box
took care of correct shaping. But to make Word work, I had to reconfigure
the whole XP, then the whole office, then I had to set the language on _both_
Word and office to be FA! This sounds like overkill, a roundabout way of doing that has to be
done a lot simpler. Am I missing something? Since the Unicode characters have
the information, should Word not at least act as a simple box? Best regards,
