Hi Dawn, A lot of your needs will depend on the size of your institution, the scope of your collections/concerns, what kind of data and reporting you want, your tech skills, and your budget.
In addition to the generous help offered by the list I will add: * There is some general information about record keeping as well as some software on the Museum Pests site http://museumpests.net/monitoring-record-keeping-and-reporting/ * There is a guide of recommended fields for designing your own tracking spreadsheet/database on museumpests.net. It probably needs an update but is a good starting point. http://museumpests.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Updated-_Field_List_for_Pest_Observation_Databases.pdf * Axiel’s EMu has an IPM module that is an add on. I have not had a chance to use it first hand, but have seen a bit of it and it is excellent. If your institution is using EMu it might be worth looking into. Best of luck with all your monitoring!
