Could it be one of the Trycorinus? Mine was initially thought to be a drugstore beetle but it was ruled out because I find it in wood as well as vegetable fibres and gourds. Can anyone confirm that this is a drugstore beetle? It was about 2 mm long. What was really odd is that it was in a cool storage area that is kept at 50 degrees, with no good food sources for them, just cardboard boxes and nitrate film.
