I'm going to reply to myself to say that I just compared with a few drugstore beetle specimens that I have and notice differences like more space between the head and thorax, along with a very overall oval shape, unlike the false-click beetle which has a bit of a taper near the end. In addition, the antennae of the drugstore beetle have three distinct lumps that are slightly spaced apart towards the end, different from the false-click.
