Sema, Going with Richard Pollack’s “twist on a theme” theme, you might want to talk with the curator of the insect collection at the Museum für Naturkunde. Insects such as carpet beetle larvae can wreak havoc on insect collections, which are a particular type of “human-made object” (and are also works of art in my view). The museum might have some examples of such damage to show you.
