Ah, I just remembered another curious thing I saw once. At the Psyche World Butterfly Park Jeju Island South Korea they have dioramas with insects standing in like people in a huge range of scenarios. (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTAkiIu0hwY). When my daughter visited there a few years ago then showed me pictures, at least one of the dioramas showed clear indications (frass, physical damage) of some of these little insect characters. The fungi on books I also came across, but I prefer things that are not initiated by humans (I assume that the mushrooms on the books are cultivated?)
