Hello everyone, I have recently been seeing an uptick in the number of winged booklice (or perhaps they are more accurately called barklice?) found on our traps across several locations (Cambridgeshire, England). Some of the sources I have found say that the winged booklice/barklice are not a threat to collections as they only live outside and chance their way into collections, and was wondering if anyone had any experience or thoughts on the matter. My thought is that since they are also psocids they may be a similar threat as well? We are going to start recording them separately from wingless booklice in any case to get a better idea if they are really increasing or if it is just perception. I generally find them on traps where wingless booklice are also found.
