Thanks Andy I'm waiting for my old box to arrive with the rest of our crated goodies, but I was planning on a whole new desktop machine as I enjoy a little gaming (waiting for nwn2 - which sadly doesn't look like it'll run on Linux). Also depends on which job I end up with. Either way I'm not sure I'll be up and running by the 30th. If you already have 10.1, bring it along, but please don't use up bandwidth or time until I know what's happening.
Thanks for the other tips. Andrew On 5/18/06, Andrew Wafaa <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

As far as providers go, I would recommend Pipex as they are very switched on and Linux friendly - slightly more expensive than some but I was happy with the trade off as they provided a great service. Currently with Demon and have had no issues at all. What kind of hardware are you after - desktop/laptop? If getting a laptop, try and get a Centrino with the Intel wireless chipset as they work almost out of the box with SUSE. Celeron and AMD based laptops tend to have Broadcom chipsets which can be a pain to get working.
