Hi, Thank you very much for your considered response. I'm sorry you are having difficulties registering, I have forwarded your queries to the person responsible for the directory and I'll get back to you when they respond. WRT the legal issues you mentioned, I am afraid that's out of our control. I understand your point regarding references, however I do also feel it is important to have a directory that represents established professionals rather than simply anyone who wants to register. If you have references, I believe the directory administrators will contact them directly, saving you the time. Obviously there is a lead-time on that however, as you rightly mention. Ideally we would be able to build our own directory which overcomes these issues, but with currently very little time and resources available for processing applications etc, we don't feel we would do it justice. We're currently busy with a number of other initiatives such as developing free / low-cost FOSS training for the sector and populating our moodle virtual learning environment with course content.
