On the question of venue - it doesn't have to be a pub if someone else can suggest anywhere better. What about a hotel bar in the city that has a WiFi connection? We could potentially do some troubleshooting for people as well as the social side of things. Does the date/time not suit everyone - if not shout up with a new suggestion.
