Hi
I've brought this one back to the top as I don't appear to have had any
response to it. There are some issue's that need discussion, eg the
venue for the next/future meetings, not least because it is difficult to
keep the web site updated with information I don't have !
Any thoughts would useful.

Hi All
First of all the next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 24th April 2007.
Hopefully it will be as well attended as the March meeting when it was
standing room only in Marks workshop. Personally I thought it was a very
good meeting with a good mix of regular and new members. By my reckoning
we actually made double figures :)
Whilst on the subject of the April meeting I think we need to confirm
the venue sooner rather than later, as at least one new member was
disappointed when they went to the rugby club by mistake last week.
My view is that the rugby club is a suitable venue, however if it is
going to prove unreliable (Paul G - I'm not having a go, the offer of
accommodation is very much appreciated) then perhaps we need to re-think
where we hold the majority of our meetings. What does everyone else
think?
On the web site front, I think that the new site is now complete enough
to go live with. As always your feedback is invited:

If the majority agree then I will set about replacing the old web site
with the new one. Which leads me to my next question - has anybody any
experience of moving a Joomla site from one server to another? If you
have, perhaps you'd be prepared to take me through the process so I
don't end up trashing the lot.
And finally...
I am thinking of arranging a PLUG/LUG social event some time in August.
I was thinking something informal along the lines of booking the big
barbies at Ferry Meadows, everyone bringing something to cook and
something to drink (preferably alcohol) then cranking up the stereo
until the place shuts.
I also thought we could send an open invite to our neighbouring LUG's to
see if they want to join in the fun. A good chance to network with other
PLUG/LUG members and have a bit of a laugh in the process.
What do you think ?
Stu
