First off, try and generate the right xorg entries yourself from one of the following sites:
   http://xtiming.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xtiming.pl
   http://zaph.com/Modeline/

This will require having some information about the monitor that likely came with it or can be found online from the model number.

If you're still stuck, the relevant bits from my xorg.conf are below. If you're not sure how to use the information ask first, otherwise you'll find it even harder to sort out later!
