I spoke to the school caretaker (and part time IT tech) and he is very flexible on dates. He is keen to open the school on any chosen date and to attend the meeting! We are very thankful that so many are able to help with our project so we
are happy to work with any date that the group decides.

In that case I'd suggest a show of hands.

Can anyone who is interested in attending the school one evening declare that interest here and mention any dates that are not suitable?

I thing we should keep the existing meeting in place next Tuesday, and look to use it to do as much experimenting as we can so that we're not completely feeling around in the dark (but that's just me as I have no prior knowledge; if others know what they're doing that's great). It also means the meeting at the school can be better focused (less general chat about life, Ubuntu 8.04, and Stuart's laptop problems :-)

Therefore to keep things simple I'd suggest we look for a date the following week that suits as many interested parties as possible, ie the week of 5th-9th May. Saying that I think 5th May is a bank holiday, and Friday's are usually bad ones to pick anyway (and I'm busy that Friday), so that would just leave Tues 6th, Wed 7th or Thurs 8th. I'm personally good for any of those.

You can tell by now I'm **** at organising things (anyone for a sober brewery trip? :-) so if anyone wants to take over just volunteer!
