Will anything be changing about the "consumer" versions of the OS? We know that they will only have a year of support going forward (which I can understand -- don't *like* -- but understand), but will these too go the way of source distros unless you pay for the boxed sets?
IIRC, the customer versions will have the newest technologies and still be freely distributed as ISOs. The enterprise products are just that, enterprise products, and will be sold with RHN subscriptions. The new workstation release will pitched to commercial software developers and engineering firms as a good replacement for UNIX workstations, not as something you and I should run at home (unless you just want to). I'm guessing the customer version will be a test bed/proving ground for stuff that will eventually find its way into the workstation & server products.
