Welcome to Phono-L, Adam! The digest batches all posts from the last 24 hours and sends as one big email. Some folks prefer this rather than getting several emails each day. When you reply to the digest, you're sending to everyone on Phono-L, just like the individual posts. I see that you've opted for both the digest and individual emails, which may be the cause of your confusion.
