Jim,

The letter states that in 1988 German Publisher Bertelsmann purchased the 
rest of RCA, he already had one third, and the right to use the HMV 
trademark on sound recordings (only) in the Americas (only), this is the 
only mention of companies having separate usage rights.  I would be most 
happy to have your interpretation of the letter as you are obviously much 
more knowledgeable in this area than I am.
