If you have something stuck due to rust, try a product called Kroil which is the best penetrating oil I've ever tried. You can find it through Google.

I've got one firmly stuck on its spindle that I have yet to get free. I tried for weeks because someone needed one. I've soaked it in PB blaster, WD 40, heated it a little - still stuck. I think I need to remove the whole shaft and remove it wile the tt is firmly supported. Someday. I should have an extra one but it might take some digging.
