I must agree with the other favorable comments regarding the Union show. For me it was an unbelievable opportunity to see and even purchase several desirable and rare phonographs. Prices were definitely not cheap but in line with going rates. I find this show the highlight of my collecting experience. I cannot wait for next years show! PS. I am sure there are people who actually LIKE 90F and 85% humidity (and the associated mosquitoes). For them I am sure the weather was absolutely perfect. This was my 5th year in a row and I found that the energy at the show was the best I had ever seen and machine quality and quantity were up considerably. While I paid a premium price for the Columbia BFT with a wood horn, it's amoung the nicest machines I own. The quality of the machines was very high and provided the chance to get nice quality machines. I'm not personally into fixer uper machines because I don't have the time to work on them. I look for nice machines ready for my collection. I saw phonographs there I would be suprised to ever see for sale in one place ever again. I will go back year after year and already wish it were time for next year! Dan
