Hi Everyone,
With the help of a good friend I now have several "new" working phonographs
in my collection. One of the Silvertone machines will be a gift to a friend in
a nearby town. She & her husband really like music but have never owned an old
crank style phonograph. To make a long story short . . . I need a crank. New
or used . . . doesn't matter. I was able to figure out which crank (from one
of my other machines) would work. The crank should be no more than 5/16 inch
in diameter. Including the threaded end, the shaft must be 6 1/2 long (or
slightly longer). This does not include the handled part of the crank. The
crank then extends downward approx 5 " and then the handle goes 3". The handle
could be black or solid wood. (The cabinet is oak if that makes a difference.)
Money is a bit tight at the moment so please no pie in the sky $. But the
catch is . . . I need it by March 24 so I can deliver it on the 27th.
If anyone can help please contact me off list.
Thanks so much.

Wayne,
I will check my pile-o-parts. If I have one, you can have it for free. It
should be a male threaded end correct?
