no, don't use Pledge! who knows what sort of chemical reaction (not to mention residue buildup) might occur?
a moist cloth works fine. be sure to not allow any moisture to contact the plaster core. if you use the moist cloth and play the record soon afterward, any hardened goop will be softened and moved out by the stylus, which you then clean...
