Painter's pad is a soft knap flat pad that is sold with a plastic
handle.  Toss the handle.  The pad has very fine, soft bristles that are
small enough to get into the grooves of records.  I think the pad's
intended use is for painting the edges of walls/ceilings before using a
roller to paint the rest of the surface.
