Nice, Peter. I enjoyed that very much.

I've never owned a Credenza, but I've heard a friend's many times. My DD
player is a BC-34, and I think Peter's right on the money. The Edison sound
is more like an audiophile system, say Thiel 7.2's with Musical Fidelity kW
amps and a nice tube pre-amp, Cary or conrad-johnson for example, playing
back a Telarc SACD or a nice MFSL pressing on a VPI TNT with a Lyra Titan
cartridge, while the Credenza is more like a good CD played back through
active studio monitors or an upscale PA system (Claire Brothers, Prism,
maybe even EAW 850's with Crown MacroTech amps). If you want slam,
Credenza. If you want the performers in the room with you, Edisonic.

All that said, I sure wish I still had my Brunkswick Ultona.
