Don't rely too much on PayPal. I know of one instance where PayPal did pay after a lot of work by the injured party, BUT Pay Pal terminated both the buyer and the seller until they got money back from someone. They didn't care about the injured party not being responsible for the problem of destruction during shipping due to poor packing. Somehow this sounds like ebay! Does anyone have other experience with trying to get payment out of PayPal?

Paypal told me unless they have a feedback of 50 or more getting money back is no guarantee. I complained and they said my case is closed and that they would make there best effort to refund my money. I then went to the bank and canciled the payment to paypal. I got a call from a colection agency and I sent email from paypal to the agency from paypal saying that I won the case but there was no guarantee because the seller had no money in their account. I finally got the rest of my money back from paypal because I had some in my account that was used for the payment of the phone, sorry for the long story. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ken Danckaert" <[email protected]> To: "Antique Phonograph List" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 14, 2007 9:57 AM Subject: Re: [Phono-L] Whaddya think it will Pay Pal? > Don't rely too much on PayPal.
