Can someone please tell me how to remove the shaft
from a Victor 4 spring assembly. Thanks, Terry Lewis

Or how about a carryola like the one that went off on ebay.? Kind of expensive
for this type of portable.

John,?
? If you are looking for portables of the same quality as Victors and Columbias
I don't think you will be very happy with a Birch; definitely a step down from
what you are used to.?

What web browser are/were you using when this occurred? Were you hand
entering your password or were you using autocomplete?

I too enjoy my HMV 101. However, I think I prefer the 102 overall. In fact,
apart from the VV-50 I prefer the HMV portables over the Victors. I must
confess that this may be due to the overall esthetics--I never got over the
ugly look of the metal 'brief case' Victor portables to buy one and actually
give it an extended listening test. Please keep us informed about the
performance of the D-G.
Cheers,
