Hello Phono-Friends! Hope all are well. I just wanted to let you know to
never get complacent when buying on ebay. I have been an ebay seller for 10
years, and a buyer longer than that. Several weeks ago I bidded on and won the
bid on an item. I really forgot about the item until something reminded me of
it. After about three weeks, I went into 'my ebay' and went to the item that I
had bought. To my surprise, the seller had gone from a 96% feedback rate to
a rating of 54%! Needless to say, I still have not received my item and the
seller will not respond to emails. Just yesterday I went in to give the proper
negative feedback and was denied access due to the fact that ebay removes a
seller once the seller receives a negative 4 rating. The feedbacks that were
posted are very nasty about the seller.

I paid by Paypal and the investigation is underway. Paypal sent me a letter
informing me that they will make all efforts to get the money back, but they
make no guarantees. I thought ebay and Paypal will get your money back up to a
certain amount. This is evidently not the case. Again, buyers beware!

The point of this story is this...

Only buy from reputable sellers. Never take that 100% feedback for granted.
I guess I have done pretty well as this is the first time that I have ever
been taken by a seller.

Beware, there are robbers out there and they are not just lurking in the
banks!

Have a wonderful weekend.
