Hi Folks,

Someone asked me about a new purchase.  They said it was labeled as a Columbia 
Viva Tonal 122 portable but they found a Thorens motor inside.  That's when 
they asked me to look at the photos.  I've never seen one of these particular 
portables before so I would be interested in other opinions.  This looks like 
it has been some what 'cannibalized' to me.  I would imagine that Columbia made 
their own motors and turntables and that the spindle wouldn't have affected the 
label on the inside of the lid if it was the correct height.  I've no idea if 
the reproducer is correct.  Please view at link below.  Opinions?
