Gabriel,
Those screws don't look 100 years old and I doubt that they are original
to your machine. I think I would replace them with screws and nuts of the
samesise with standard threads. You can probably find some old ones that
would be in character with your machine. Keep the screws you have with your
machine just in case you ever find the correct nut,

Subject: [Phono-L] Problems with withworth screws
I am restoring a phonograph and have found a problem with screws and nuts.
This image: http://www.boxio.com/390IKUMODS33/withworth screws&nut.JPG shows
two screws and a copper nut that is to be embedded in the wood. Well, my
problem is that the phonograph lacks the other nut. Here, in Spain, there is
almost impossible to find withworth screws o nuts as they have never been
used here since more than one hundred years.
Do any of you know where can I get a nut to put it embedded in the wood? I
think the metric is 1/8'' Withworth.
Thanks in advance,
Gabriel.
