Hi Mike- I didn't know anyone was making "M" motors-- That's impressive. I
have a 'wondering'. When I got my Class 'M', the case was missing three sides.
It is the early short case in mahogany. It is missing the front (including the
drawer, the back and the left end. What I do have is the base board and the
right end. It also has the two swarf drawer runners. Years ago I purchased an
excellent reproduction case, and restored the machine. I was wondering if it
would be feasible for you to make my missing sides and drawer--and what the
cost would be. I'd be happy to send you pictures so you can see what I have.
Thank you-
Brad Abell

Subject: [Phono-L] Class M

I have one quality reproduction Class M motor left - there won't be any more.
uns at correct voltage and apart from the new look, indistinguishable from the
riginal.
Available at US$5000 plus postage from Australia.
If you have an appropriate topworks, I can supply quality reproduction deck
undercoated), governor and cabinet (early or late style, mahogany or oak, ready
or polishing) plus the motor for US$8000 - working and ready for the topworks.
f required, I can also modify your Triumph A topworks with the two idler wheels
eeded for a Class M at cost. Cabinet will take up to 2 months to have made. If
ou take this option, I will contribute $200 towards postage.
For photographs and/or information please contact me on [email protected].
This is definitely the last motor, so first in wins.
