I have two early Columbia cranks. One is on a later BN (Champion) but it is the wrong one. It has escutcheon wear far out on the thick part of the shaft. If I could get the thinner part of the crank out of the thicker diameter part, I could cut down the thick part and then put the thin part back in (Is this making any sense). So has anyone ever had one of these two diameter cranks come apart or have you taken one apart. Alternatively, would anyone be willing to trade two Columbia cranks with longer large diameter parts for a very good condition BN crank?
