A friend has a Laboratory Model diamond disk player. To the left of the platter, along the edge close to the cabinet, are two push buttons -- one labeled "10" and the other "12." Neither of us was aware that there were 12-inch diamond disks. Were Edison reproducers available for lateral records? Was this an after-market modification?
