If you go back and look real hard at that machine you will note that it
is far from prime condition. The belt tensoiner looks to be missing in
action and the top does not aper to have a matchng finish but this may
be lighting. The corrosion on several parts is nota good sign though.
I bet it is the video that sold it though.

where are these buyers when I am selling something?
..... It was the way he described it, 110 years old and someone that was
ignorant purchased it. Four years ago a standard described as mint, 100% of the
pin striping was GONE and it was one of the WORSE standards I have ever seen,
but the seller said it was the nicest one he had seen in 35 years and it sold
for $750 with an equally crappy horn. Ignorance is bliss for these sellers.
The buyer got a $300 dollar machine for $1060. Your problem is you are honest,
and a nice guy as well. Steve

A two minute Standard with no horn, no crane and no belt for $1,060? The seller
made out like a bandit... where are these buyers when I am selling something?

for a Standard though.

Check this out..here is an Edison Standard going for over $1,000 on eBay. The
interesting thing is, one bidder placed 13 consecutive bids within a few
minutes, bidding against himself each time, and taking the price from $599 to
$1000. I call shilling. What do you think??
