My BF has a 2/4 min conversion.I believe mine came from the factory with
it.There is a slotted stud in the side which is used to engage the gearing
by means of a pull knod.One speed when in the slot & a different speed when
out of the slot.Also the gearing cover is different as the part which
normally covers the feed screw & shows the BF model is not there.I have not
had to disasemble the actual conversion,but it does screw into the feedscrew

John,Do you know anything about the 2/4 min conversions? Are they just the
gearing on the end of the original feedscrew or do they require a
feedscrew conversion also? If the 2/4 doesn't need a special feedscrew,
then maybe just the gears and selector would interchange, irregardless of
the feedscrew length...

Hi,I have both a BE & a BF.The BF feedscrew & tube is 10 3/8" long & the
BE
is about 8 1/4" long.Not interchangable.John
