I'll be buying more soon, but I've been using grease I found at an
automotive store.  It was a molybdenum based grease with graphite.    I've
had the present container for a good number of years now and it seems to be
the same consistency as it was originally, no signs of getting dried
out/stiffer.

It's been years (decades... ?) since I re-greased a Victrola motor - can't
even find what I used to use so...... anybody got a recommendation as to
what kind of grease to use - brand/model number would be nice but anything's
a start.
