Unfortunately, the original bug (14496) wasn't written by the person submitting the additional information.
It's kind of difficult to remember a password you never had. :) There's currently no way to add comments to a bug (for instance, to give a "I am also having this problem, here's my information") that wasn't submitted by you. Which is possibly one of the reasons that duplicate bugs get submitted.
