I did move the new php4ts.dll, and still got that darn message. I even tried to uninstall and installing Apache twice, and still got that message. I recall that PHP 4.0.1 also had the same problem when I downloaded it for the first time as it appears on the website. Few days later, I downloaded it again, installing the package, and the problem was gone, apparently someone had put the correct binary version of win32. I have deleted _all_ PHP 4.0.6 files (including all files in windows/system directory) before installing the new version. This is the message I got: Cannot load c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll into server: (31) A device attached to the system is not functioning: But when I installed the old version of PHP, my Apache can load the DLL smoothly.
