For me, strictly not reproduceable. I d/l latest stable apache, 4.2.0rc4 and cvs snapshot (2.2.7 ) and curent head (2.3.0) both ziping, gziping and bziping worked fine. hm. -- Please always Cc to me when replying to me on the lists.
