I have been watching this thread since I originally posted. I have to say: HAHAHAHHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAH
The leadership of this community has shown itself to be a joke or at least inept. Everyone is so worried about offending another person that they have completely forgotten the point of this group. You want to solve this problem? Solve it, stop running around in circles avoiding conflict. How about this: 1. Paul admits that like everyone else on this list, he isn't perfect 2. Paul admits that like everyone else on this list, he will sometimes stumble 3. Paul admits that like everyone else on this list, he is trying to work on the number of times he stumbles 4. Everyone else on this list gets a life, grows up, solves the problem, and moves the hell on 5. You adopt a very simple COC, perhaps the Ruby one: This document provides community guidelines for a safe, respectful, productive, and collaborative place for any person who is willing to contribute to the Ruby community. It applies to all “collaborative space”, which is defined as community communications channels (such as mailing lists, submitted patches, commit comments, etc.). - Participants will be tolerant of opposing views. - Participants must ensure that their language and actions are free of personal attacks and disparaging personal remarks. - When interpreting the words and actions of others, participants should always assume good intentions. - Behaviour which can be reasonably considered harassment will not be tolerated. 6. Paul agrees to work on softening his communication style Tada! If Paul can't do that, he agrees to quit. If the leadership can't do that, they agree to quit. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "PHP Framework Interoperability Group" group.
