You should set a name to your session:
Index.php:
<?
session_name("mySession");
session_start();
$_SESSION['myVar'] = "something";
?>
LogOff.php
<?
session_name("mySession");
session_start();
Session_destroy();
Print_r($_SESSION);
?>
