Thanks Justin. I should have clarified.... this is going to be used on an Intranet, where I can be sure that every browser will be IE 6 with javascript enabled, and no firewalls between the webserver and the clients. That's why I felt more or less safe with depending on HTTP_REFERER and javascript.
