It might also be a good idea to block search engines with robots.txt -
robots.txt won't stop the spammers, but it will stop them from be able
to find your contact form in Google.

I would never finish the list of banned words!  I get tens of thousands
of spam emails per month across my systems.

My ISP went mental when I did this, as there was so much outgoing mail,
most of it to non-existent addresses.

I disagree that they target one person.  I would think that they have
software automatically finding these forms, and automatically filling
them.

I just would like to know how, so that I can securely stop them.  I
haven't had time to search for systems to use for spam yet, but I would
guess that is the way - figure out how they get in, then stop them.
