As most spammers want to include a clickable link, the best I can think of is 
checking for this before you do a strip_tags(); etc.

They usually want <a href="mysite.com">Buy Now</a> or the [url] type as used on 
some message boards.

I've used a CAPTCHA on my contact page (using the default font) which is not 
too obstrusive. Obviously, it wouldn't stop an OCR system, but it's easy to 
read.

Feel free for anyone to try and break it, as it will help me make it more 
secure.
A non-clickable link is allowed www.mysite.com though.
It saves the message to a DB, then emails me that a message has been left.
