Hi gentlemike2,
I was expecting you to get plenty of replies on this subject, so I held off a
bit.

This is certainly a problem which I hadn't considered?

In all the automated stuff I've had, the IP is always randomly generated.
Even the opportunist that is using what I think they call a "Privacy Browser"
which hids or spoofs everything.

What I have found is that by checking:-

if (isset($_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE']))
  $lang = $_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE'];
else
  $lang = 'None';

If no language is sent, it's from an automated system, which also includes
search engines.
As you don't want a search engine to index a Contact Me link, this seems fine.

Can anyone confirm that this is correct?
Regards, Bob Exton.
