Thomas:
Got it working!
I was using a BIND DN instead of a Domain. I had DC=XYZ,DC=NET instead of just
XYZ.NET.
It works, and is very FAST!
Some comments:
1. If I make a users auth "INTERNAL", I get an error if I do not select a
"Server". I've tried adding "localhost" as an auth server, but got an error
stating that I did not supply a valid DN.
2. I've configured a user to deny all of the following:
Add users
Edit users (delete and change password)
Reload search cache
Edit access control settings
Add servers
Edit users auth info
Delete servers
Yet I am still able to see "Change Password" within the "Config" section.
Is there any chance of adding who you are logged in as in the uper right hand
corner? (next to the "Your IP")
Is it possible to see who is connected to the DB/App at the moment as Admin?
This is a great step, especially in my present environment where all apps are
to become AD friendly. Making apps AD friendly will allow us to much easier
disable accounts, and all of their access, much easier.
Again, thank you.
